Private photography coaching

Training built around your photography, your goals and your next step

One-to-one workshops, practical field sessions and long-term mentoring designed around the exact skills, problems and ambitions you want to develop.

One-to-one support Online or in person Built around your equipment
No generic lesson plan

Focus on the parts of photography that will make the biggest difference

Every photographer reaches a point where general tutorials stop answering the real questions. A bespoke session lets us concentrate on the exact problems holding you back.

We can work on one focused skill, create a multi-session development plan or build a longer mentoring relationship with clear goals and regular feedback.

Private coaching typically starts from £50 per hour, with reduced rates available for longer sessions and planned programmes.

01
Start with your goals

Training is designed around what you want to achieve, not a fixed course outline.

02
Use your own equipment

Learn with the cameras, lenses, lighting and software you actually use.

03
Work on real problems

Bring images, projects, workflows or business challenges that matter to you.

04
Leave with a plan

Turn the session into clear actions you can continue applying afterwards.

Practical guidance from more than twenty-five years behind the camera

I have worked across weddings, portraits, commercial photography, events, landscapes, editing and photography education.

My teaching style is direct, supportive and practical. The aim is not to overwhelm you with theory, but to help you understand what matters, practise it and apply it independently.

I have taught photographers since 2018, from complete beginners through to experienced photographers developing professional work and businesses.

New to photography?

Bespoke training is designed for photographers with the basics already in place

Those still learning camera controls will get more value by starting with the structured beginner programme.
