Beginner – Practical (in-person)
BEGINNER LEVEL 1 is perfect for absolute beginners who want to get out of Auto and build confidence with their camera in real-world conditions. You can add Level 2 for a deeper creative boost, or choose the bundle to take both and save.
Each level provides 5 hours of in-person practical training, delivered across two sessions with at least one month between sessions to give you time to practise. Take both levels for a total of 10 hours of hands-on coaching.
Level 1 – 5 Hours Practical
Fundamentals in the field: exposure, focus, sharp shots, and confidence.
Level 2 – 5 Hours Practical
Creative control: composition, flow, consistency and storytelling.
Levels 1 & 2 – 10 Hours Practical
Both levels (two sessions per level), spaced a month apart.
How it works
Sessions are arranged anywhere within 20 miles of Portsmouth, UK. After purchase, I’ll contact you to confirm dates that fit our schedules and choose a suitable location.
We’ll focus on the essentials that matter most: camera control, exposure, focus, composition, and applying techniques in the field so you leave with repeatable results.
What happens on this course?
